Can I get cash out at the Hotel?
Yes, the Birdsville Hotel has two ATM facilities.

Are there sufficient quantities of aviation fuel available?
Yes. The Birdsville Hotel does operate the aviation refuel facility and we have ample stock of both Jet A1 and Avgas.
Will you be selling Hotel souvenirs?
Yes we sure are! A range of souvenirs is available for purchase in the Hotel reception.
Can we bring our children into the Hotel?
Yes. Minors under the age of 18 are permitted in the hotel, provided they’re supervised by a responsible guardian at all times and leave the property by 10:00pm.
Can I buy cigarettes?
Yes we do have a small variety of cigarettes and tobacco pouches on offer over the bar.
Do you sell espresso coffee?
Absolutely! Coffee is available to purchase in the Lizard Bar from 7:00am.
Can I buy ice at the hotel?
Yes we will be selling ice but we have only a limited supply. The fuel stations will also be stocking ice.
Can I bring my dog, cat or canary to the Hotel?
We love our pets as much as you do, but they’re not permitted within the grounds of the Birdsville Hotel.
Is there any accommodation available at the Hotel during the Big Red Bash?
We are fully booked during the 3 days of the Bash. If you’re planning an extended stay either side of the event, please contact us to check availability.
What are your trading hours?
Reception is open from 7:00am. Our bars are open from 10:00am until latest close of 2:00am. We may close earlier, if required, at management discretion.
Can we buy takeaway alcohol?
Yes, we are licensed to sell takeaways from 9:00am until midnight.
Can we reserve a table for lunch or dinner?
Due to the huge numbers of visitors that come into town during the event, lunch will be served on a “first-in, first-served” basis. All your pub lunch favourites will be available daily, 11:30am – 2:30pm. Thanks for your understanding!
Dinner meals will be available during two sessions during the event and served in the beer garden. To ensure the best meals in a reasonable amount of time, we have capped the meal numbers to 400 per night – 200 per dinner meal sessions. Meal tickets can be purchased from the Hotel Bars or Reception on the day you would like to dine with us.
First meal session: 5:30pm – 7:30pm | Second meal session: 8:00pm – 9:30pm
Adult Ticket: $30.50 | Children Ticket: $15.00 (13 Years Old and Younger)

Where can I get breakfast if I’m not staying at the hotel?
A hot cooked and Continental breakfast will be available each morning. We will be open from 7:00am – 10:00am for breakfast.

Yes we have Missy Lancaster playing live at the Birdsville Hotel on the 29th & 30th of June as well as Sunday night the 2nd of July.
Live Entertainment at the Hotel
We’ll be hosting several events around the 2017 Big Red Bash.
Missy Lancaster will be playing here at the Birdsville Hotel in the lead up to the 2017 Big Red Bash. She will be playing from 8:30pm until late on the evenings of the 29th and 30th June and then Sunday night the 2nd of July.
