We're thrilled to welcome Missy Lancaster to the Birdsville Hotel. She'll be playing in the lead up to the 2017 Big Red Bash, from 8:30pm until late on the evenings of the 29th and 30th June and then again on Sunday night the 2nd of July.
Who is Missy Lancaster?
Missy Lancaster is a twenty-one year old singer song writer from Picton NSW, that has been performing since the age of 14.
Along with her own shows around Australia she has performed at leading festivals including the Tamworth Country Music Festival, Gympie Muster, Julia Creek Dirt n Dust Festival, Birdsville Races and the Deni Ute Muster, plus invited as a special guest for artists including Adam Harvey, The McClymonts and Travis Collins, to name a few.
Missy’s sound is country-pop with a rock edge.
The ARIA Country Album Chart saw her hit top 10 with her second independent EP she simply called, Missy. It’s little wonder industry eyes and ears had the emerging songstress in their sights. In May 2016, Missy Lancaster was signed to a worldwide direct recording contract with Sony Music Australia.
